[They find it eventually.

Frisk hasn't been up for much, but... they can't let that stop them. They can never, ever, let that stop them. Chara isn't here, but they still get up every day. They get dressed. They have breakfast and they make enough for lunch that Asriel can't go hungry in their absence, and they leave. To clean, to wander, to- something. Stay determined. Stay determined. The tip of their shoe hits the container and almost sends it skittering down the staircase. It takes Frisk a good while to react past the initial downward tilt of their head, looking at the post-it note and not taking the words in,

taking the words in.



A few minutes later, they're sneaking back into the apartment. Chara's room is- it feels like it's something out of bounds. The atmosphere past the wooden door is cold, unwelcoming, and despite an immediate sense that they need to backtrack, because they aren't welcome here, Frisk enters all the same.

And leaves the container, post-it note and all, on their bed.

When they come back, they're going to need it a lot more than Frisk does.]
